Plan a Nature Getaway!

Join the Sat Nam Yoga Community
for a Transformational Kundalini Yoga & Wellness Camp.

Our Campsite location:

Alpine Valley
N6766 Bowers Rd.
Elkhorn, WI 53121

Located in the heart of Alpine Valley, Wisconsin we aim to reclaim the spirit of peace, wisdom and harmony that only nature can deliver.
Take a 3 day break from city life to soak up the healing at our pristine 50 acre private campsite.

Do the Hokey Pokey and Turn Yourself Around!

Join us for a transformational weekend of Kundalini Yoga, Sound Journeys, healing arts and songs around the campfire! Feel even more in tune with yourself, others, and the natural world around you. During our time together you will release stagnant energy, open your heart, and replenish your soul.

You'll have ample time to explore the scenic surroundings of the campsite. Whether you choose to swim in the river, canoe on the lake, hike through the forest, relax in a hammock, or simply soak in the moonlit valley, you'll be connecting with the elements of nature.

Immerse your self in a compassionate and soulful community. Whether you're a seasoned yogi or a complete beginner, you'll find a warm welcome and a supportive environment at Camp Hokey Pokey.

music: Gobinday - Joy by Snatam Kaur

Our campsite is a special place, made possible thanks to the Glenner Family. Their generosity and kindness have helped us create a transformative and unforgettable experience for all who have attended. Just up the hill from our campsite, in their home, is a plaque that reads, "What if the Hokey Pokey was what it was all about?" and we rolled with it!

Through the lifestyle teachings of Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan, we are reminded that we thrive when we are together, in Sangat, along with the power of nature and the spirit of elevation we can enhance the quality of our human experience. We look forward to falling asleep under the stars and breaking bread with you all.

FAQs

Is minivan or car camping allowed?

Yes! Your’e welcome to in the designated parking area that’s about a 7 minute walk from camp. There are no vehicles allowed on the camp grounds.

Are dogs allowed? What are the conditions?

Emotional support dogs are welcome at CHP, subject to a few conditions. We appreciate our furry friends but don’t like stepping in their poop. Please do your part to maintain cleanliness. Dogs must be on leash during practice hours. If you're in the practice area with your dog, please consider practicing on the periphery to avoid distracting others. If your dog displays aggression or behavioral issues, we may request that you utilize a nearby canine facility. There are three such facilities within a 10-mile radius. CHP provides both inner and outer adventures, with meditative moments requiring stillness and complete silence. Please consider whether bringing your dog will enhance or impede your experience and the experience of others.

The cost of a dog pass is $25. Please email us at mgr@satnamyogachicago.com to request.

What are unloading and loading procedures?

When you arrive to camp follow the signs to the unloading area. You’ll unpack your car and haul your gear to your chosen site. A few wheel barrels and pull carts will be available for use, first come. If you have one, you might want to bring your own.

Is there a carpool?

Yes and we encourage it! Link to the CHP carpool is above. You can ask for a ride or offer a seat. Make sure you factor in your gear!
