Develop Your Self-Sensory System
This is a breath meditation to strengthen the self-sensory system, which is our capacity to perceive from an expanded awareness and with intuitive knowing. This is an essential exercise for developing the subtle body to live as an intuitive, multi-faceted being with great sensitivity, compassion, and care for others.
Time: 7-31 minutes
Mudra: Cross the right hand over the left hand to form a triangle in front of your heart. The hands should remain at the level of the heart. Arms stay parallel to the ground, palms facing down.
Eyes: Look at the tip of your nose.
Breath: Make an ‘O’ shape of your mouth and drink in the air through the mouth. Fill your chest totally and exhale through the nostrils. The breath should be very long and steady and mechanical.
Maintain the triangle, keep the spine straight, and participate actively.
“See how strong and comfortable you can be. This is the time to use your commitment, your courage, consolidate your senses, achieve.”
To End: Inhale deep. With all your force, hold the breath. Exhale. Repeat 2 more times. On the last inhale, hold and squeeze every fiber and every nerve of your body. Let it go. Relax.
