From our facilitator Carly Pinto MScN, Founder of Nurture By Nature
My journey in the field of holistic health began when I was led astray by conventional medicine for my own health struggles. Upon encountering a health practitioner that helped me make some profound improvement in my health, I was moved deeply. My eyes opened to the realm of using food, plants and lifestyle shifts as medicine. I knew this was my work to do after this experience. This newfound passion led my to pursue a career in holistic nutrition.
After receiving my Bachelors of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics with a minor in Psychology, I attended National University of Natural Medicine to receive my Masters of Science in Nutrition, which equipped me with an incredibly unique and naturopathically-influenced holistic nutrition education.
With additional trainings and intensive studies in herbal medicine and traditional medicine practices, from nationally-renowned herbalists and accredited institutions for continuing education, my offerings are truly one-of-a-kind. I pride myself in always identifying as a curious, open-minded, life-long learner.
