Introduction to Gong Playing: Learn about the history and significance of the gong, and how it can be used for healing and relaxation.

Foundational Elements: Understand the fundamental techniques and principles of playing the gong, including proper posture, hand positions, and striking techniques.

Basic Strokes: Explore a variety of basic strokes that produce different sounds and vibrations, allowing you to create a range of tones and textures.

Tonal Value: Discover the inherent tonal qualities of the gong and learn how to manipulate them to create a rich and dynamic sonic experience.

Practical Exercises: Engage in hands-on practice sessions where you'll have the opportunity to play different gongs and experiment with various techniques.

Guided Gong Relaxation: Experience the profound effects of a gong relaxation session, where you'll learn how to create a soothing and immersive experience for yourself and others.

Closing a Yoga Class: Discover how to incorporate the gong into a yoga class, adding a unique and transformative element to the final relaxation, or savasana.

Jay will share his experience of facilitating for others in one-on-one and group sessions and go through format in both scenarios.

By the end of this course, you will have gained the confidence and skills to play the gong and create beautiful resonant sounds. You'll have a deeper understanding of the gong's potential for healing, relaxation, and spiritual growth.
