Attract Prosperity with the Power of Gratitude

This meditation was originally given to manifest money, and has the double-benefit of cultivating a magnetic attitude of gratitude.

It works by fixing the mind to the flow of infinite power and universal sustenance. As you repeat the qualities of the Divine in this mantra, the “separate self” begins to merge with the all-pervading infinite, Doer of all. As the illusion of separation and lack begins to fade, we recognize ourselves as deeply intertwined with the force of life that creates everything that has ever been, is now, and shall be. The mantra also solidifies the recognition that the current of universal wealth, possibility and prosperity flows through your very being, and thereby removes the mental perception of lack and limitation.

Meanwhile, the mudra provides a receptive point of consolidation for that flow to materialize. It is like creating a liquidation point in your own self to distill the vast blessings of this creative power. After we become aware of the force of infinite abundance around and within us, the mudra helps us make a withdrawal from that “cosmic checking account” in the form of abundant blessings. This process of becoming attuned and grateful, makes us both great and full, so we can circulate our treasures with others.

Mudra: Place the right hand on top of the left, crossing only the fingers over each other (palms stay exposed to the sky). Then bend the elbows at a 90 degree angle against the side of the body and place the hands flat and face up like you’re holding a tray. Extend the thumbs so they’re pointing directly forward. Be sure they’re not stretched back so far that they point to the right & left, but exactly straight ahead.

Mantra: Play a recording of Har Har Har Har Gobinday… (preferably by Nirinjan Kaur). Sing with it from the navel.

Har Har Har Har Gobinday (sustainer)
Har Har Har Har Mukanday (enlightener)
Har Har Har Har Udaray (uplifter)
Har Har Har Har Aaparay (infinite)
Har Har Har Har Hariang (destroyer)
Har Har Har Har Kariang (creator)
Har Har Har Har Nirnaame (nameless/egoless)
Har Har Har Har Akaame (desireless/unattached)

Eyes: Closed

Time: 23 1/2 minutes.

To End: Sit in silence for 40 seconds. Have no thought. Then inhale and press the palms against the heart, creating as much pressure as you can, squeezing the spine and entire body. Squeeze out all the sickness and disease. Hold for 17 seconds. Exhale. Repeat 3 times total and relax.

BONUS: Take your journal or a piece of paper and list 3 things you are grateful for from your day at the end of your practice. Continue for 11 days and see what changes!
